Recently I found my hot tub was not running. The breaker was tripped, but resetting the breaker would only trip it again. I discovered the problem was around the main circuit board and heater. So I contacted the local Balboa rep - Watsons. They told me I would either need to replace the circuit board or heater costing around $1000 for either one. And that I would need a site visit with an initial fee of around $125 just to come out. I had decided to dispose of the hot tub and purchase a new one when I came across Huff Pool and Spas. Actually Watsons suggested contacting them to remove my old hot tub.
We went to their location in Wayland and found they had a large number of used hot tubs for sale, many completely refurbished with all new parts. A number more waiting to be refurbished.
In talking with Jamie, the owner, she listened to my issues with the current hot tub and suggested I bring the circuit board and heater in for diagnosis.
I brought it in a couple of days later. She quickly was able to confirm that the heater element had lost continuity and recommended replacing it. While I waited, she found the exact replacement part offering me options of good or better. The better part was $84 and her bench fee was nominal. She ordered the part, installed it and tested it for under $150 total.
So now my old hot tub is up and running perfectly thanks to Jamie and her wise caring nature.
Forget Watsons! Huff is the new go to place for all your hot tub and pool supplies. If you're thinking of putting in a new pool, buying a hot tub, having trouble with your operations, give them a call.

After close to two years of not being able to use my hottub, it is clean and being filled. At the beginning of the summer I was going to give this away because my frustrations were so high. We had a leak. We spent tons of money with other companies. I cried a lot. With a lot of encouragement from Huff Pool and Spa I found the leak, sealed it, and cleaned the tub up.
